There are different types of marriage practiced in Nigeria one of which is Civil or statutory marriage. Statutory marriage is the legal marriage described by the official Marriage Act. It can take place in places of worship or in the Registry as long as the couple can provide the marriage certificate or license that authorizes their marriage.

Mine took place in the Registry and here are the second part of the pictures
