This is my post for #freewrite Sunday prompt Hot Tamale by @mariannewest

My husband saw a fish floating on top of the water and his curiosity got the better of him so he went over to see what it was. He said a big sailcat had eaten a trout, the tail of the trout was sticking out its mouth it also had a bite from a shark on its side. He said he could see the imprint and all the teeth marks. It also had the back half missing where the shark bit it into. The only thing we can figure is the sailcat caught a male trout and it went to grunting before it could digest the trout a shark heard it and bit the sailcat. The sailcat should have eaten a hot tamale and it might have heartburn but would still be swimming.

I went back to Cat Island today I only caught one pompano so I ran to Long Point there was nothing there. I tried Barefoot Bay Island and caught 2, every island had boats on them so I ran north to Moo Moo, before I got there I saw a boat come from the north and it went down the east side, I decided I would go west of where it had run and I'll be damned it a boat didn't come from the west and headed to the same place I wanted to fish, I opened my motor up and got there before it did. I got three rods out and a damn jet ski ran right across my lines. I hate having to fish on weekends. I went back to Cat Island and caught 2.

I found two life jackets that must have blown out of someone's boat. They are both for kids. The next time I put in a Main street ramp I will hang them on the pole for people to use who do not have life jackets

I caught a pigfish, they are what I use for trout bait, they grow fast. The middle of September I had to quit trout fishing because they got too big.
