Chocolate Salami (nougat) recipe

Who does not like chocolate? Yes, I know but, this post is not for those people who do not like chocolate. If you like chocolate, I present to you this recipe that will make you a new person. This recipe is ideal for Christmas holidays and share with family and friends. Prepare the ingredients and and let's go to cook

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Maria-type cookies (it can be any sweet cookie that allows you to easily chop into small pieces)
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 200gr of dark chocolate
  • 60gr of sugar
  • 80 g of butter (preferably without salt)
  • optional: almonds, hazelnuts, nuts, peanuts, etc.

Preparation

  • Process the cookies in pieces, but that they are not very crumbled
  • In a saucepan, place the butter, chocolate and sugar on low heat and let it melt
  • Remove from heat and add the 3 yolks (previously beaten) mixe constantly so that they integrate and form a cream
  • While the chocolate mixture is still hot, add the cookies and nuts, and begin to mix vigorously so that it forms a manageable paste.
  • In a foil form a roll and let cool until well firm. Put in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours
  • slice with 1 centimeter thick and enjoy.
