Caramel popcorn 🌽 | Perfect to share with family and friends

I love the caramel popcorn. Since childhood, it has always been one of my favorite treats. I loved going out to a cellar or supply and buying a small package and sitting under a tree to enjoy them. I had never really prepared them, I admit that I preferred to buy them, but this time, I wanted to try making some to share with my family. I share the recipe with you and I hope you are encouraged to prepare them.

Ingredients

  • Popcorn (I used 125gr)
  • 200gr sugar
  • Butter 80gr
  • 3 pinches of bicarbonate
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • Prepare the popcorn and reserve (You can use the microwave). I recommend separating the grains that did not explode.
  • In a pot, large enough to beat caramel with all the popcorn, place the sugar and butter.
  • Let it melt, mix constantly to prevent it from getting paste and burning. You must have patience and you will notice that butter and sugar do not want to join and that it forms like a dough, but do not worry, ten patience and keep stirring and you will see how by magic it takes the form of caramel.
  • I advise you to turn it off when it is slightly golden. Just when you turn it off, add the baking soda and vanilla, integrate everything well and quickly place the popcorn.
  • Mix everything very well, you must act quickly to prevent the caramel gets hard and then you can not distribute it for all the popcorn
  • Lets them cool completely and with the help of your hands, separate them. Serve at your preference.
