fried crispy tempura shrimps, bathed in a crab sauce with chopped scallion, all over tempurized rolls also with shrimp; It is a delight completely. The Tokyo Roll is one of my favorites on the Bonsai Sushi Bar menu. It is a light to moderately sweet roll with a strong shrimp base. Both its interior and its topping constitute this sea exquisiteness. If you are a lover of "ebi" meals, this roll is just what you need.
I have eaten it many times, and I really enjoy its crunchy texture, its sweetness, and the taste of the sea that it leaves on my palate. Even being a tempered roll, I use wasabi on it to add that cold spicy flavor I like so much. I share a small photograph before tasting this dish.
