Revisiting My Tomato Plant - Here's a BIG ONE!

It looks like my tomato plant has produced a fat tomato!

A couple of weeks ago I shared this plant to you all so you could see what I was growing at the house and so far this tomato plant produced a whopping ONE WHOLE tomato... Shameless I am, I know. It really isn't much, considering I thought the plant would be producing significantly more but sadly that wasn't the case. This is the first time that I've grown tomatoes but I did learn quite a bit by growing it and reading more about this variety (Moneymaker Tomato).

Right now, the single tomato is roughly two inches tall and has a radius of around 1 inch, as you can see the tomato is currently green near the top and yellowing as it gets to the bottom. There is still more time for this tomato to grow even larger, which is quite baffling. For me its already quite a fairly-sized tomato. Luckily, there does seem to be two flowers that are producing smaller tomatoes but they aren't as productive as this large one. They're certainly less than two centimeters wide, and I hope they get to the same size as this tomato seen. The Tomato plant still has a long summer ahead of it so who knows what to expect at this point, maybe it might grow some more!

I'll definitely post an update in the next few weeks when this tomato begins to get that red colour that we all know and love. Hopefully the smaller fruits will get their time to shine on the next post!
