Saturday, a day when most don’t want to cook. If I were in Jamaica I’d probably pass by my parent’s house for Saturday soup. Yeah, I could make some myself but ain’t nobody got time for that.

Bento Take Out

Yup so it was time for bento take out for lunch. My wife said at first, “I don’t mind eating some convenient store food” 😳

My rebuttal

“The bento take out probably costs less than what we’d buy at the convini! ”

And then I dropped the:

“What’s the name of the bento place near your friend’s house with squid onigiri you like?” 👹 #WIN!!* 🕺🏾

It’s true though, going to the 7 11 would run us at least ¥2,000 yen when we could get 3 bentos to feed us for ¥400 each and at least it would be somewhat healthier than the convini store stuff.

I don’t even know the name of the shop but it’s a mom & pop spot that has been going for years. There is no dining here, so this establishment was ahead of the “curve”.

Because this is a borderline 💩 post in the Hiviverse, I went and added some value via Canva and made this diagram thing with arrows to show what each item in the box is. I also added a “cover image” and prettied it up for the curators who don’t actually read but probably base the quality off the cover. 😂 ( if you actually do that, shame on you but I ain’t mad at yah).

We ended up having the bentos in the car before heading to the park ( yeah, where else would we go? 😐). The reason, one of the twins wanted to eat in the car, the other wanted to eat outdoors. But the one that wanted to eat outdoors, he can compromise, the other would create a fuss and would probably have me shouting unnecessarily. Sometimes it’s best to go the route of least resistance.
