The Second Holy Evening - hungry Kutia! Separate my family's story

Tonight is a special one for many Ukrainians. A generous evening, or else it is called - hungry KUTYA on the eve of the great Feast of Epiphany. Families prepare а lean table with not many dishes and remember the great event of the baptism of Jesus Christ.

You know, this year's dinner was different from the others. Only today we have felt a harmony which has not been for many months. Everything was timely, composed and quiet. Everyone was doing their part. When the dumplings were cooked and the table was set up, we all gathered around him and prayed.

And later we started to eat. As for the dishes, we had a main course of dumplings as well as fish, salad, sour cream, wine, cheese, garlic, salt, bread, tomatoes and butter.

The best that can be - the dumplings are buttered with sour cream! And you tried?

In fact, everything was delicious and in principle, a person really doesn't need much.
Later we read the story of John the Baptist and the baptism itself.
After that, we listened and sang carols that went on the radio without interruption at the time. Although, in general, they played some sad songs that my mother sang and they caused me depression and I asked not to sing.🙃

In short, this whole idyll with a sweet evening, with songs - makes me a little nervous. Because usually in our house there is a fuss, everyone is running back there and doing whatever they want, so this is a kind of lively and fun environment for me. I love this. Because it's my reality family and I love her very much.

In short, perfect pictures it's for another people, and I - hate them!

And later the second part of the dinner will be livelier. Everyone's favorite theme is sweets.

We all know perfectly well that this is harmful and sometimes even the nasty thing (like donuts that have been fried in oil)

we should still eat because our hands are itching.
Well, that's it for everyone, but we always rejoice at first, here's the moment of truth: Oh, Daddy will make a tea, I'll pour milk in my cap of tea and we'll eat kutia

(a traditional Ukrainian dish made for Christmas),
donuts with different toppings, cake (waffle cakes smeared with brown condensation) and even a bright, colorful spicy Christmas tree, which was bought at a discount.

However, after that you realize that more than half of it is not needed. Humans, humans - seem like intelligent creatures, and they make the same mistake every time.
