Triple Stack Jack Flapjack: A Jack Daniel's & Pulled Pork Recipe... on Flapjacks (pancakes)
I'm a huge Jack Daniel's fan, and pulled pork... well, not only is it delicious, that's where my BBQ journey started. So when I first started designing my BB Bistro menu it was only natural that I would want to combine both these personal favourites somehow. It wasn't until I opened the Bistro in Hatfield that I needed to work in some breakfasts menu items... enter The Triple Stack Jack Flapjack (How cool does that roll off the tongue... right?).
P.S. A Flapjack is (I'm almost sure) what we South Africans call a "pancake"
My BB Bistro menus are mostly focused on "takeaway" food and not necessarily "fastfood", and while the Triple Stack Jack Flapjack recipe might take a few minutes longer than the average menu item, the main reason it hasn't made it on to my menu (yet) is because the logistics/setup in my takeaway Bistros don't allow for menu items that don't "play well" with the other items on my menu.
Having said that, the Triple Stack Jack Flapjack is bound to be a crowd favourite (Pulled Pork, Pancakes & Jack Daniel's... who WOULDN'T love that), and just as soon as I work out the logistics it will certainly become a feature on the breakfast menu. #WatchThisSpace

I just pulled a pork shoulder out the freezer and you're giving me some ideas now. 💡
I was gonna marinate in a cayenne based marinade that I picked up in a gallon at a local supermarket but not sure how that would mesh with flapjacks. 🤔

hmmmmmm... I'm a big fan of peppery foods, so the sweet & spicy combo should work (for me).... Have you tried it yet? How'd it work out for you?
