Cool drinks for hot days
This is a good drink for health, has the effect of beautifying the skin, losing weight, and purifying the body, conditioning the spleen and stomach. I prepared 6 ingredients for this drink, which are all healthy ingredients. These ingredient are rich and creamy, yet lively and full of flavor. For the best flavor, I recommend using all of them.
Violet blutinous rice
Violet blutinous rice, a flavorful whole-grain alternative to white rice. Violet glutinous rice is rice with a purple-black seed coat, it’s outside has similar texture like brown rice and little chewy. This rice is rich in anthocyanins, its has more fiber and protein than brown rice or white rice. Violet blutinous rice also hosts several health benefits that can help improve heart, digestion and liver health. Here we often use purple ( violet) rice to cook sticky rice, make sushi and kimbab or serve them with yogurt and fruit.
Black beans are prized for their high proteins, vitamins and minerals and fiber content. Adding black beans to our diet will provide with many nutrients and help prevent various health conditions.In addition, black beans are a "panacea" that has many healing effects such as : Lowering blood pressure, managing diabetes, warding off heart disease, good for pregnancy, helpping in weight loss, preventing cancer. Black beans are also an excellent dietary choice for those looking to promote bone health. I usually cook black bean broth to cool down, sometimes I make black bean ice cream, black bean soup or black bean sticky rice, black bean salad.
In Chinese medicine, red bean genus of herbs, red beans soaked in water to drink does have health effects on the body. Red beans taste like black beans but it is red. Eating beans helps to maintain a feeling of satiety for 6-8 hours, so it will help us lose weight. Red beans bring benefit to the cardiovascular, maintain healthy nerves, good for anemia people. In Vietnam there is a famous and very effective beauty secret, grind red beans into powder, mix red bean powder with yogurt or fresh milk, combined with exfoliation on the skin, you will have bright white skin after 2-3 months. (Red bean powder bath 3 times / week)

Mung beans used as an everyday tonic in traditional chinese medicine. They’re high in nutrients and believed to aid many ailments. Green beans have the same effect as red beans. I like to eat mung beans, when I was a kid I drank, ate roasted mung bean juice and soup mung bean every day, and now I still like to eat mung bean and ice cream and mung bean milk tea. Mung bean is the main ingredient in many traditional Vietnamese cakes such as: chung cake, xu xe cake, rice cake, sugar mung bean cake, moon cake, green bean cake with pandan leaves, etc. Mung beans, help clear heat and toxins from the body, improving circulation in the process.
Black sesame seeds are plants that belong to the 'Laxative herbs that drain downward'. There are many types of sesame, include white sesame, yellow sesame, brown sesame, black sesame, ..Black sesame seeds are rich in a number of nutrients like :improve sleep quality, nourishing blood, cure dry cough, tonifying liver and kidney, effect on our blood, brain, skin and hhair.I often add sesame to salads or to decorate cakes because sesame always creates aroma.
How to make :
Wash and dry all ingredients above. Discard bad and damaged seeds, when washed with water the seeds that emerge will be damaged seeds. Roast them over low heat until fragrant. Grind them with a blender, then filter them with a cloth or strainer, add hot water. Store in the refrigerator.
Add sugar if you like sweetness. Serve hot or cold.
