[Artwork] Fire Spirit

avatar

I made another artwork that I published on MakersPlace. In case you wonder why I promote MakersPlace a lot recently, the reason why is mostly because I think it is great to be able to tokenize your work. Proof of Ownership, a very interesting digital development. I recently removed all prices from the store, so all artworks are open for bidding. Fun fact; the first artwork I sold was for 0.036 ETH, the last one that got auctioned was sold for 0.15 ETH.

As for this artwork, I created "Fire Spirit" from a photograph that contained heated briquettes. Nothing more, nothing less. There are various animal spirits to be seen. They all have one thing in common; fire. There is only one edition available on MakersPlace, and I am planning to do more 1 of 1 editions in the future. So, if you have any requests, feel free to put them in the comment section below (in the meantime, I'm also creating some cool postcard themed designs).

When I work with images, I tend to fade away in the realm of my unconsiousness. Zoning out, to just let it go. While I'm thinking about it a little bit more, I just realized that since the start of me making artwork, these were the only times I felt comfortable enough to let go of control.

This is similar when I play the piano. Zoning out, letting go, and create something that projects the mood of my unconsiousness. While it is differently when I play, if I were to play for someone else, I focus on the person's energy and play whatever I feel.

It's not a surprise to me that my artwork and piano improvisations tend to be a little bit darkish, both ways let me vent my emotions.

That being said; it's all in the eyes of the beholder anyway.

Keep creating,
Ruben

What is the first animal that you have discovered in this artwork?

I can see a snake's head in it.

Haha, yes... didn't I tell you that back in Tallinn as well? I believe @eveuncovered said that as well.
