Oh yes, those Volkswagen vans; albeit a bit tiny and pricey, they are lovely vehicles!
The only downside I see is the constant upkeeping. My bus wants a complete brake service and quite some welding till it will again bring me everywehere in 2020....
Amazing way of living and traveling! Much better than a carriage with horses!!
In the old day,people can wander on a horse back quite free from rules and regulations. Nowadays, we have passport control!! And security check!

Oh yes, indeed, freedom of travel did not really improve over the last 300 years. Sad.
But sometimes I wish I was travelling with a horse cart. I am sure it is actually the perfect speed!
