The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020) – Movie Trailer

I know that Valentine’s Day was yesterday, but it’s never too late for a drama/romance movie trailer… This time, we have a trailer for the movie named The Secret: Dare to Dream, which is based on the worldwide best-selling book “Secret”, and telling us a story about the power of positive thinking packed into a romance movie. And it’s nice to see Katie Holmes outside the horror genre (the movie Brahms: The Boy II comes to theaters in a week)…

The story follows Miranda Wells, a young widow who is struggling to raise three children. A powerful storm makes big damage to her house and mysterious man, who suddenly appears on her doorstep, helps her with house repairs and with firing up long-forgotten “family spirit”… But, he carries a big secret that can change everything...

The director of the movie is Andy Tennant, a well-known for his movies like Fool's Gold (2008), Hitch (2005), or Sweet Home Alabama (2002) with Reese Witherspoon and Patrick Dempsey in the main roles. He was one of the writers along with Rick Parks, and the screenplay was adapted by Bekah Brunstetter (producer of This is Us), by the novel of Rhonda Byrne.

In the main roles are Katie Holmes (Batman Begins (2005), Jack and Jill (2011), Disturbing Behavior (1998)), Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari (2019), Sweet Home Alabama (2002), Glory Road (2006)), Jerry O'Connell (Stand by Me (1986), Kangaroo Jack (2003), TV Series Sliders (1995-2000)), Celia Weston (Hulk (2003), Knight and Day (2010), In the Bedroom (2001)), Sarah Hoffmeister (TV Series 9-1-1 (2019), Speechless (2016), The Labyrinth (2017)) and others.
