After directing movies Insidious: Chapter 3 and Upgrade, the director and writer Leigh Whannell has decided to dive into the most interesting theme of the all times, invisibility… He has written and directed the movie The Invisible Man, which is coming to theaters at the end of the month. His horror version, with Elisabeth Moss in the main role, looks awesome… Of course, judging by the newest, second, trailer for the movie… If we take a look at his past 2 projects, this one can’t be a fail! Warm recommendation of this movie to all horror fans.
The story follows Cecilia, a woman who has successfully “escaped” from her abusive boyfriend. After some time, she receives news that her ex is dead, but she suspects in his death. After a couple of mysterious events, she finds out that her ex has found a way to become invisible, but nobody believes her… Her life becomes a nightmare and she is afraid of her life and the lives of her closest friends...
The director and writer of the movie is Leigh Whannell, known for his roles in many horror movies, but he has also directed 2 famous movies in the genre, Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015) and Upgrade (2018). The movie is based on a novel by H.G. Wells.
In the main roles are double Golden Globe winner Elisabeth Moss (The One I Love (2014), Queen of Earth (2015), TV series The Handmaid's Tale (2017-2020)), Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Faster (2010), Going the Distance (2010), What's Your Number?
