The movie Spenser Confidential comes from the producers of The Fast and the Furious, with some interesting actors in the main roles. I don’t mean on Mark Wahlberg, but on Post Malone and always great Oscar winner Alan Arkin. Old-style crime/drama movie with a lot of action and fists-fight work will come to Netflix at the beginning of March, so we have to wait around a month and a half for a premiere.

The story follows ex-felon Spenser, who returns to Boston to solve some 5-year-old issues that he has from the past. Someone had framed him back in the past, covering some murder conspiracy… It is a time to reveal all the dirty cops, politicians behind the murder...

The movie is directed by Primetime Emmy nominee Peter Berg, a well-known actor, director, producer and writer by movies like Lone Survivor (2013), Very Bad Things (1998) or Patriots Day (2016). The screenplay is written by Brian Helgeland and Sean O'Keefe, by the novel of Robert B. Parker and Ace Atkins.

In the main roles are Academy Award nominee Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter (2010), The Departed (2006), Ted (2012)), Academy Award winner Alan Arkin (Argo (2012), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)), Winston Duke (Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Us (2019)), Iliza Shlesinger (Instant Family (2018), Forever 31 (2016)), Primetime Emmy nominee Bokeem Woodbine (Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Queen & Slim (2019)), Post Malone (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)) and others.
