Another great movie from Netflix is coming in March, based on the New York Times bestseller, named Lost Girls. The film is inspired by true events with two great actors in the main roles, Oscar nominee Liz Garbus and Golden Globe nominee Gabriel Byrne. Full of emotions will not leave you indifferent after watching it...

The story follows Mari Gilbert, a worried mother whom daughter Shannan disappeared. Police look uninterested and Mari decides to organize her own investigation which leads her into the gated Long Island community where her daughter was last seen. He finds that there are a dozen girls murdered and it looks that police are covering something up…

The movie is directed by Academy Award nominee Liz Garbus, a well-known by excellent documentary movies like The Farm: Angola, USA (1998), What Happened, Miss Simone? (2015), or Girlhood (2003). The screenplay is written by Michael Werwie (Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), A Rose Reborn (2014)) by the book of Robert Kolker.

In the main roles are Academy Award nominee Amy Ryan (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), Gone Baby Gone (2007), Win Win (2011)), Thomasin McKenzie (Leave No Trace (2018), Jojo Rabbit (2019), The King (2019)), Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects (1995), End of Days (1999), Miller's Crossing (1990)), Lola Kirke (Mistress America (2015), Gone Girl (2014), AWOL (2016)), Oona Laurence (Pete's Dragon (2016), The Beguiled (2017), Southpaw (2015)) and others.
