Seasonal cleaning of aviaries has started: Felicia
It's Felicia's turn to get the cage cleaned. It didn't take me long.
Felicia's aviary is very conveniently equipped.
Firstly, it has a special cage where Felicia can be closed during cleaning.
The bottom of the door has a removable plank that retracts when I need to sweep.
I use fuel pellets as bedding. It is essentially the same as wood litter for cat litter, but significantly less expensive.

It's not that difficult now that we have improved the aviary. Before it it used to be very difficult because Felicia tried to bite me all the time.
Biting the hand that feeds you... and getting away with it 😜
She tried to bite even bitten when she was a tiny puppy. Her mother died and she was brought to us. I'm not offended, it's her nature.
