Feathered Friends- Blue Jays, Cardinals and a Catbird

Hi everyone! Feathered Friends is hosted by @melinda010100. She has many beautiful bird photos so be sure to check them out each week. The tag #featheredfriends is to show that you can post your bird photos any day of the week. Today I have some blues and reds to show you, and one that has to do with a cat.

Blue jays a pretty birds but they are very aggressive. This one is sitting under my Crepe Myrtle with a squirrel and they are leaving each other alone.

.

Here is the Blue jay sitting in my Crepe Myrtle.

Along came a Cardinal that didn't stay because the blue jay chased it away.

Cardinals always know they have another place to go, my feeders.

I added this photo because it is red and is called a Cardinal Climber vine. Check out the grasshopper.

Here is the bird that has to do with a cat. That is because the name of this bird is a Catbird.

Thanks for stopping by!

All photos are my own.

There's a few tame ones around here. The other day i saw one near a school with an entire donut in its mouth. He scored big from someone.

A whole doughnut? That would have been a great photo. It probably swelled up like your tarantulas did. LOL!

I wish i had my camera. I wonder if someone gave it to him or if he dug it out of the trash, it was next to a high school football field so i can imagine the vendors throwing out old donuts. I've seen racoons raiding the dumpsters there too.

I had a catbird that supervised me many times when I was working in the garden. Often it was less than 10' away, sometimes much closer.

We have lots of cardinals in the winter when we hang the feeders.

That is interesting about the cat bird. I love cardinals and the songs they make. Take some pictures of yours. : )
