Spotted Owlet | Wildlife : Birds - 5

The spotted owlet is a small owl and very common in Asia and subcontinent. Spotted owlet is a resident of open habitats like farmland and is also seen in human habitation. Owlet has also adapted the living in cities. Spotted owlet lives in small groups and nests in tree hollows.

Spotted owlet is well camouflaged so it is hard to spot them. When they move then you can detect them. Mostly in cities they are hiding behind the leaves. As they live in groups so when you see one owl their must be others too.

These spotted owlets are very cute and I always love to see them. Some owlets live in my office garden so I visit them daily. In these some are parents and some are babies. I photographed some owlets in a housing society in Islamabad and they were sharing living with humans but it is sad that after some time tree was cut down because of construction. In our urban environment we must protect them and should make some arrangements that these kind of wildlife can live securely.

Wow...gorgeous photo clicks of spotted owlets. Also your description useful to the wildlife seekers.

Yeah. exactly right. Wildlife authorities need to take action for protect them. Because they important to keep balance nature.

Thanks dear -- I am always surprise to see small zoo and cages with bird in every park why not create a protected area in every garden in which wild birds can live.
