Bird Art
As a bird photographer, I have a serious problem.
I no longer own a zoom lens. That pretty much puts me out of the game in terms of creating new images... however, I have been meaning to explore the idea of creating digital art based on my own photos. This post shows some of my first efforts.
A bald eagle in flight. That's right... one bald eagle.
A great blue heron, tiptoeing across a pond. Digitized of course.
When I talk about digitizing what I mean is turning the image into a scalable vector graphic. You can click on any of these images to see them larger if you're not sure what that means.
So that's what I did here, and I'll show you just a few more examples. Here is a peacock perched in a tree. I don't often see them in trees but they can fly so now and then they do get up there.
A coopers hawk perched in a tree top.
Three Canada geese in a row. This time there really were three, not like the trick I pulled with the eagle in the first post.
Let me know what you think of these images. They are just an experiment but I had fun making them. If enough people like them, I may produce a few more. Thanks very much for visiting!

Hopefully you can get another telephoto/zoom lens in the future =)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked my post! :-)
Beauty 👍
Thanks very much!
So beautiful photography. Nice timing to click this one and background is perfect as well.
Thank you, @engrsayful :-)
Wonderful to see your bird photography once again, neat overlaying on the first pic, very effective in flight with the eagle.
Digitizing them in full screen gives enjoyable viewing one after the other.

Thank you very much, Joan. I'm happy you liked the images. I'm going to work on this idea some more.
First attempt is a success and the bird look very artistic, Keith! Can't wait to see what you put together in the future @keithboone
Thank you @ninahaskin. I'll keep working on this, so far these things look too much like photos. I keep forgetting how small images are online... if you see these on a large screen they look more like what I had in mind.
Using a smartphone, I know what you mean. I always open images in a new browser window and zoom in to get the full effect.
Have a terrific Tuesday! @keithboone💓
