Trying to stay cool inside, we took a few opportunities to enjoy the front yard, now that the waters have receded. My oldest grabbed some chalk and decided to add to our welcome mat. Funny thing is, the word WELCOME is on the mat, but she decided to use her own version to offer the invitation.
