I AM A DOLPHIN!!

Yahoo!!

+1 Dolphin in Steemit and this is me:)

Yesterday I saw this new award, and it made my day. It's just formality, I haven't won a million, but I was so happy!

It's my small achievement, my new status, and I am proud to have it!

I showed the badge to my parents (who don't believe steemit and any kind of activities in the internet are worth of attention and time), and they asked:

  • so what does it mean?

I tried to explain there are definite statuses, levels etc.
But they were interested only in pragmatic side of this news:) they are too far from this internet world. They ask:

  • ok,but what will it give to you? Have you won money? Any prizes? What's the profit?

They couldn't understand why I was happy and proud if it wasn't any financial prize:)

I replied:

  • I needed about 1,5 years to get it. It is not money. It's my achievement,my reputation, and it does mean much for me.

Maybe my intonation, maybe something in my eyes appeared, but they got what I meant and congratulated me sincerely:) finally:)

THANK YOU, MY FRIENDS!!!

I wouldn't get it without your help, I know it!

And maybe 1,5 years are too long to become a dolphin, but I like a good Russian proverb: the slower you are moving, the further you will go;)

I do believe it's true in my case too:)

Congrats Talia, and I'm glad your parent's finally got it! and gave you the warm congratulations that you deserve. You've put a lot of time and effort into your blog, and have grown it organically. Here we say: Slow and steady wins the race.

Love you Sis, and always love to see photos of you, mimimi!!!!

You deserved it @taliakerch because you are a very hard-working steemian.
Anyway you are so thin in that picture, I wanted you to gain some more weight :P

haha thanks!
I was always slim, it's not the first photo you've seen;)
it's my natural weight, and I can't gain it whatever I would do, I tried many times when I was convienced by people around that I was not ok. But later it appeared that they were not ok, and I was perfect and much helathier than they.
MAybe in your country women are fatter (just physiology), so my body is unuausl for you;)
