DIY: HOMEMADE MAGIC (HOW TO GROW A CRYSTAL)

It's real magic, friends! And you will see it by your own eyes!

But this type of magic isn't fraud, it's nature, chemistry, and its secrets.

I always try to find something unique for my son to play with or to enjoy. Just simple toys are too boring and useless.

This time I have found this set and I was sure I would buy it!
Thanks God the price was very cheap - 3-4$ for 2 pcs.

It's recommended for kids 10+ but we always play together with my boy, so I was sure we would succeed;)

So here we have a set and a looooooong instruction about usage and carefulness because it's a chemical liquid.

It's carbamide with dyes.
I am far from chemistry unfortunately so as far as I got - the liquid evaporates, and the crysral begins to grow.

I was even rather nervous because it was said the crystal can be very fragile. So we were careful!

So we poured liquid in a special plate.. and began to wait.

We needed 3 days to get results!

So the 1st day is over..

You see it's only the beginning...

At first we came to check every hour:))) we were so inspiring and so eager to have a ready crystal, but it was slow:)

Then we forgot about it for a while and....
