HONEY BEES & WILD GERANIUM FLOWER 🌸🐝🌸
Hello my Dearest Bee Lovers,
Most of you know how much I love photographing bees and butterflies so here is some more from this year. I actually captured these in early October when bees were still working very hard to collect the last nectar before we got the first snow in November. Everything happened so fast! One day flowers were blooming all over the neighborhood and next day everything was gone. I think the bees felt it was coming, so they had to make sure they were prepared well for the long Canadian winter!
Oh and there is photo of shiny fly there too. She was trying to get my attention very hard, so I couldn't ignore her 😀

Oh the shadows, that I am trying to avoid as much as possible, but sometimes is not possible. Especially with bees, lol. But I know you have a contest Melinda, so you see them a different way. Howdy Miss Lena! These are truly wonderful shots. Were those guys posing for you? Even the fly is a great shot and I know those guys are hard to catch long enough to photograph!
Legit photos...I never get any good macro shots...I plan to buy a macro lens next year though so hopefully can grab something half-decent.
Thank you so much, I am happy you like it. You know, I was taking macro shots even with my old Canon ELPH 300, lol. And now I just have the basic lens, but I wish I could afford decent macro lens.
I've tried of course, and have had some reasonable results...Just not great. Still, I take photos for myself so if I think it's ok then that's good enough I guess.
I am sure it is and I would love to see them too 😊
