GINKGO BILOBA TREE for WEDNESDAY WALK 🍂😊🍂

(Edited)

Hello my Dearest Friends,

A lot changed since last Wednesday when I took these photos, because this week we got a big pile of snow and these two tiny Ginkgo Biloba trees have not one leaf left.

Anyway, last week Wednesday I had to get up at 5am, because I was scheduled for Carpal Tunnel surgery at 8am. I had nightmare about getting up so early for a week, but I survived and it turned out to be a beautiful morning. I was enjoying the view from the taxi on the way to the hospital and planning to go for a walk after. Now you are maybe thinking " is she crazy? After surgery? For a walk?" LOL!!! Well this surgery is very quick and they don't put patients under anesthesia; they just numb your hand so you don't feel anything, but you can talk to the doctor while he is working. He is quite fun guy actually and he plays good music too, lol. The trick about this Carpal Tunnel, is the time to heal. My right hand is still not 100% perfect since January, but I hope my left hand will be faster. Luckily, I can type with two fingers, lol.

Anyway, after I came back home I had quick lunch and coffee and I was ready to go for that walk. Unfortunately, to my big disappointment, by that time the clouds begin to gather, wind was blowing stronger and it got a lot colder as well. Well I didn't give up and I kept walking and taking photos some of the trees on our trees while the sun was out. I saw these two tiny yellow trees and I was wondering what they were. For some reason, I didn't pay much attention to them during the summer. I guess it's because I am always looking for butterflies and dragonflies, lol. However, last week, I was amazed, when I discovered, that we have two GINKGO BILOBA trees on our street. One of them had only few leaves left, so I took full shot of one only, but most of the other photos are of the other one. They are still very young and already they have been planted only last year. I am so happy they we have them here, five minutes from our house. I actuary never seen them before anywhere, except in New York, but I was siting in the car, lol. The only problem with these trees apparently is the stinky fruit, so I really curios about that, so I will be keeping my eye on it, lol. On the other hand, the leaves of this tree have also lots of therapeutic properties that you may be familiar with or you can read about HERE.

This is my entry for #wednesdaywalk initiated by my Dear Friend and great photographer @tattoodjay. For more information about this challenge, please read HERE.

Hmm I think about 4 or 5 years ago, and it made such a big difference for me :)

Oh I agree, it is a big difference, although my right hand is not 100%, my fingers are great. Even my left hand fingers are much better.

By the way, I just realized that I forgot to include one photo, the one I though it was the best, lol. I just added it now.

If I remember rightly it took a couple of weeks to really feel the full benefit and I didn’t exactly follow all the recommendations so I am lucky it helped lol

I have to revisit your post now 👍

I've never seen Gingo Biloba trees, they are so pretty! So glad you're doing so well after the surgery Lena, I wake up with that numbness every morning, likely a candidate for this type of surgery; good to hear one doesn't need anaesthetic for it as I have had bad experiences with it, have so many allergies!
Lovely photography!

I love their beautiful yellow leaves against the blue sky. Your photos are marvelous! I have had thoughts of planting one in my front yard simply because I love the shape of those leaves, but now that I see how beautiful they are in fall I am really determined to have one.
