I am now a curator for @tipu and can give out some good votes!
Today I got on the list to be a @tipu curator. @tipu has changed from whatever it used to be to a new system now after the fork. The project is just getting off the ground with changes, and you can read their updates here:

The basic idea is that we little people can curate posts for others (and our own posts) with the big SP @tipu has. It is 2.5 million SP with most of that delegated from someone else.
In my case, I have a 2 cent vote, and now I can give 3 tipu votes each day out for some good amount.The first time I saw my account on @tipu my vote was 50+ cents. The screenshot below shows 80 cents plus. Now is says, "null" so I think they are working things out over there.
Since I see a lot of good minnow posts with very little reward, I think this will really help people. Any vote I can give better than 2 cents will be a win!

I'm excited to try @tipu curating to help small blogs grow. I will do an update post when I get more info and some results. I voted a couple of posts today, but the votes have not yet come in.

Interesting post. I’ve started to post on steemit again after some time away, things seem to have changed for the better, still a lot to get my head around.
You are so right, @dan-wilson. We are definitely in a new time of STEEM. I have not stopped through it all, and see changes each day. Just keep posting and interacting :)
One thing is that I no longer use steemit to post with or use it at all. We now have a lot of other dApps that pay with upvotes to your posts if you use them. I get much better results with this method. You can see esteemapp voted this post since I used their dApp for it.

I took a look at your blog, @creyestxsa94. You have an interesting story and good posts. My suggestion is that you post daily and fit your content into contests and challenges here so people will see your work.

Oh, this is amazing. This could help so much to many of my friends that lost all enthusiasm for their tiny rewards on their high-quality posts.
Is there a way to ask for the curation support, despite not being nominated?
I always used Tipu very well giving tips. I loved that feature because it allowed me to support my friends despite my meaningless SP. Anyway I kept upvoting them, but that's more like a "moral support", because the value of my vote is too low.
For me it is important to encourage my friends to keep going, and creating the best they can. Our success here is a team success based on reciprocity.
I noticed the tag "marlians" in your post... Is it an African community?
Many of the members of my project TEĈ are from Africa. I'd love if they could receive support from Steemians of their own countries.

This is great Sharon. Thank you for using it on the smaller accounts! My upvote is now nearly worthless on low paying posts, so I started buying sbi for great posts instead - at least nothing is wasted. Now I hear sbi is frowned upon. Giving tips is too expensive if I want to continue to support the littles. I am grateful for your unflagging devotion to the smaller guys, it's really something.
