I wanted to participate, it is a challenge that fits very well with what I like to do, you had a great idea!
I love walking as you may have noticed especially since my knees do not like me running anymore so I walk a lot so its was a natural challenge for me to start :)
I know you love walking and I think it's a good exercise for your knee.
Yes if I slacken off fir a few days I start to feel it in my knees so that keeps me motivated
