Ronaldo wins Legends award

Real Madrid legend and Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded the prestigious Leyenda award from Spanish popular sports magazine Marca. The award is for sports legends across the globe from all sports disciplines.

Former recipients of the awards include, Diego Maradona, Pele, Rafael Nadal, Lionel Messi, Michael Jordan, Novak Djokovic, Muhammad Ali and other sporting greats.

Ronaldo got the award on account of his illustrious career filled with silverware which include 4 Champions league medals, 2 La Liga crowns, 3 European Super Cups, 4 World club Cups and currently holding the European Cup with UEFA Nations League at international level.

He is indeed a worthy recipient considering his impact in playing for four big teams in four different European top leagues.
