Era un grupo de jóvenes que un día decidieron irse de paseo, en busca de aventuras, la idea del viaje era disfrutar del camino y divertirse, se dirigían en una camioneta Silverado, hacia el río "El Limón" todos estaban contentos, a ratos cantaban, contaban chistes y reian.
El camino era solitario, había mucho calor, el viaje era largo. En un punto de la carretera existía un desvío, la vía era de tierra amarilla y la misma acortaba el camino.
Contaba la leyenda del pueblo del mismo nombre que por esa carretera pasaban cosas extrañas en semana santa.
Faltando como una hora de camino la camioneta se averió y todos los jóvenes tuvieron que bajar sus pertenencias y andar a pie.
En esa caminata rumbo al río se encontraron con lo que al principio parecía una cartera, de lejos no se distinguía muy bien. Moisés uno de los jóvenes que andaban en ese paseo, se acercó, miro a su alrededor para percatarse que no había nadie cerca, como para haberla dejado tirada en medio del camino; luego la alzo, la abrió y dentro se encontraban unos binoculares y un mensaje escrito en papel rasgado, que decía bienvenidos al juego.
Inmediatamente todos se quedaron extrañados, se miraron unos con otros, pero siguieron caminando pero no terminaban de llegar al río.
Aprovecharon los binoculares, para explorar el lugar. Todo fue muy extraño, se empezaron a escuchar muchos ruidos de diferentes aves, como presagiando que algo iba a pasar en ese momento.
En ese momento sintieron que se acercaba como el ruido de un motor; era un comboy en el que se dirigía un pelotón del ejército, se bajaron varios soldados y se abrió paso el Sargento Garcés, se presentó y les pregunto a los jóvenes que hacían caminando por ese vía tan solitaria; ellos le comentaron del averió de la camioneta y él les invito a que vieran la práctica de tiro que estaban llevando a cabo en los alrededores del río que por ser un lugar tan apartado era seguro.
Luego el sargento Garcés les pregunto sino habían visto por casualidad; un bolso naranja que contenía unos binoculares, que se les había caído en el camino antes de llegar al lugar de práctica .Y era la razón por la cuál se habían devuelto.

El Sargento lo recibió y lo metió al convoy.
Luego los invito a subir los llevo a la práctica y de regreso los auxiliaron con la camioneta. Bueno en realidad la camioneta no tenía nada, solo que se había quedado sin gasolina, porque el Reloj marcador de gasolina; tenía la aguja pegada. Y los jóvenes no se habían percatado. Pero dentro de toda la travesía corrieron con la suerte de que el convoy llevaba una reserva extra que les sirvió para devolverse a la estación de servicio de gasolina más cercana, llenar el tanque y seguir su camino de nuevo en el paseo.

They took advantage of the binoculars, to explore the place. Everything was very strange, they began to hear many noises of different birds, as if foreshadowing that something was going to happen at that moment.
At that moment they felt the sound of an engine approaching; it was a comboy in which an army platoon was heading, several soldiers got out and Sergeant Garcés made his way in, he introduced himself and asked the young men what they were doing walking along such a lonely road; they told him about the breakdown of the truck and he invited them to see the shooting practice they were carrying out in the surroundings of the river, which was safe because it was such a secluded place.
Then Sergeant Garces asked them if they had seen by chance; an orange bag containing binoculars, which had fallen on the road before arriving at the practice site.

Then he invited them up, took them to practice and on the way back they helped them with the van.
