Climate & Environmental Issues Talk by Brazilian Eco-Activist, Ivan Diniz

Ivan Anjo Diniz is an environmental activist and inspiring ecologist from Brazil who is passionate about our Earth. He is in the UK to do a series of talks and workshops about the situation in Brazil, climate change, and the projects he is involved in to create the changes needed at this time. He is also looking forward to exchanging information and ideas about sustainability and building communities.
Ivan will speak about where he is from in Brazil and the bio-diverse savanna, which he has been fighting to protect from GMO soy farming for many years. He will talk about the different eco projects he is involved in and how they are trying to protect the land. He will show some amazing slides of the area in which he works as a tour guide. He will also speak about his ideas for living sustainably and how building community is the way forward to prevent further damage to the earth and slow down climate change. There will be about half an hour for questions, discussion and exchange of ideas. Donations towards Ivan's travel expenses in the UK, and work in the Cerrado will be gratefully received.
