With the intention of delving a little more about the adoption of cryptocurrency in countries of South America, I was reviewing some virtual currencies that can be traded in Venezuela.

After my last publication of crypto content related to Masternodes (MASTERNODES more than a wallet, more than a coin... an advanced technology crypto-financial platform),
I asked myself a question:

How will the acceptance of Dash "Digital Cash" in my native country?

How to buy Dash?

Well, in Venezuela it is possible to buy Dash with national fiat currency through some companies that provide virtual financial services.

I have taken as an example, two Venezuelan crypto-financial platforms for being one of the most quoted in the national territory. It is one of them, if you enter the link you can check the web portal where you will find information and the steps for affiliation.

First you must open an account on the platform and then deposit the sovereign bolivars (BsS.) in the company's wallet; After a respective verification process, you will have the option of acquiring the Dash according to the amount you have invested. It is also a Dash buying and selling company in Venezuela, here you can trade dash not only with sovereign bolivars but also with other cryptocurrencies accepted by the system.

Dash are deposited in your compatible wallet which you must have active in advance.

Other Exchanges for Dash

Apart from the two options mentioned above I have investigated some other important names that you could consult for yourself to extend the experience:

  • Cryptoway
  • Changelly
  • Cryptolife
  • ShapeShift
  • Poloniex
  • Colibit
  • Cryptiaexchange

What is Dash Text?

To my amazement, a mobile phone service has been activated since November 2018 in Venezuela (Dash Text) which allows to transfer Dash by text messaging.

Dash Text it uses the resources of intelligent equipment and the P2P protocol, so as not to depend directly on the Internet, since in this country the electrical failures regularly affect the local Web service in some areas.

The service tries to enter the market for the realization of payments of goods and services, it has been incorporated so far in the payment plans of the mobile phone company movistar, but the adoption is intended in the future by mobilnet and digitel.

"For more information on (Dash Text) I recommend you check the sources:
intercambiar-dash-mensaje-texto-venezuela / dashtext"

"In my opinion, I think it will be even easier to access through our mobile, considering that the service is also designed for people who do not necessarily have smartphones"

Where to pay with Dash?

In search of the utility of Dash as a means of payment, it should be noted that in the national territory there are international fast food franchises which have an agreement with Dash Venezuela for the acceptance of payments with digital currency, such is the case of Church's Chicken, Papa John's and subway.

"According to a press release published this week, this alliance between Church's Chicken and Dash Venezuela will directly allow 13 establishments in the national territory to accept the cryptocurrency, this after a training process aimed at employees and managers to better understand the operation of the digital currency" / /

It has been seen in recent times that unofficially some businesses begin to accept payments in dollars, which is an advantage for a part of the population that already manages to have their savings in dollars;

But for those who don't have the greenbacks?,

In this case, the option to pay with Dash or some other cryptocurrency sounds very encouraging because in my opinion you could use your virtual wallet Dash or the Dash Text service as an option due to the shortage of cash presented in the country.

Dash-Venezuela a mass adoption

Among other developments related to the adoption of Cryptocurrencies in the country there is a web portal called CriptoLugares VE, in which mainly national and other businesses located in border areas with Colombia are registered, which are interested in accepting payments with crypto.

Currently the creator of the project Juan Carlos Petit, Venezuelan, plans to meet with the authorities of the Superintendency of Cryptoactive and Related Activities to conform to the regulations of law.

Some other services such as those offered by the sector Tourism are also among the wide range of organizations that are interested in the Cryptocurrency as a mode of commercial exchange, including: Airlines, travel services, hotels, transportation and Event organization.

"I hope this information has been fair enough, so that it is you who can make the last decision."

I must say you have done good research on the topic before publishing it.

Once again great job on the article @nachomolina.

Dear @NachoMolina,

I've read and re-read this a couple of times, and had a lot to say but will be more direct and waste less time of the readers ;P

I do like the idea of diversifying in crypto available, and DASH is not a bad coin, still, the fact that it mainly pains fast food is not a "good" thing, dunno, but it can be a starting point to other goods/services..

Specially in countries that have lots of people in a very bad situation, but that is just a superficial view on my part, I would talk and talk a lot to explain my point of view..

And not by experience but at face value I'm more into the over the, it gives a lot more information and seems simpler to use =X

Poloniex and ShapeShift I have on my favourites ;) the others I only know a couple from reviews but can't recommend =X

The Dash Text app, I understand that people will use it for commodity but, (and again, my point o view) is another bait to keep people glued to mobile phones, smart technology and eventually connect control every single one through 5G, but that is an entire topic in itself so I'll leave it there, but would like to add that p2p doesn't mean only over the accepted "internet", and in the even of limited 3/4 or 5G connectivity, loses it's potential (meanwhile it may come in handy, but at which price? Still good to know that it also benefits those without SMART phones, that's a nice thing ;)..)..

In the end it is good to know that Cryptos have a wide adoption, or starting to have a broader adoption in Venezuela, but, people "should" learn to keep it unregulated by governments, banks and such, so it won't fall under the same paradigm of the FIAT money..

I guess these are like my "2 cents", as usual, I do like the way You present Your posts, the English is good, even thou there are a couple words missing (I guess, and even with some text translated using translator..)

How will the acceptance of Dash "Digital Cash" in my native country?

'..of Dash "Digital Cash" be in my...' something like that ;P

Still a very good read, with the necessary information and sources ;)

/me approve!! xP

And until next time brother, In Lak'ech Ala K'in

Have a great time, all the best,

Interesting comment!

Your observations are very well studied and very precise,
Thank you for evaluating every aspect of my publication, it is very
Complementary everything you said!

Surely this leads me to improve as a content creator,
I have expanded my knowledge about the DASH cryptocurrency.

"...but, people" should "learn to keep it unregulated by governments, banks and such, so it won't fall under the same paradigm of the FIAT money"

you've hit the mark! It is definitely necessary for people to expand their knowledge in this area, lest centralization wants to lend a hand to DASH-Venezuela.

Your message has been very complete and I appreciate it very much,
thanks for taking your time to review my blog, see you soon friend ...
Atte. @ nachomolina

Thank You ^^)

And sorry if it was not the most "professional" comment, still it was from "the heart", anything related with Venezuela and blockchain touches me personally, I have family both in Venezuela and in the blockchain =P and this beside friends and acquaintances, and I really want everyone to be free and have a great life, wherever they are or from wherever they live, we are all 1, for as much differences we might have..

And it was nothing ^^) although Your appreciation is appreciated =P

See you soon ;)

How about petro crypto, did other crypto have issue with Venezuela goverment?

Posted using Partiko Android

In fact, Dash is introduced by a Decentralized autonomous organization, under the figure of DASH-VENEZUELA, while petro is a creation of the Bolivarian government of Venezuela.
Dash does not present problems in Venezuela, on the contrary it is a privilege...
@andykarma, thanks for stopping by...

Hi! my friend!

Sorry I'm late. Excellent post. I knew that here in Venezuela they worked with Dash. But thanks to your post I see that there are platforms to exchange bolivars to Dash and vice versa. Great!

By the way, have you checked if the change is good? That is to say, the price of the Dash is paid better? I ask you the following, if you exchange dollars to bolivars, you have a price. But if you exchange Dash, the result is similar? Or is there always a loss? You know that the STEEM is always cheaper than the dollar, that is to say, they do not change it at the price of the Venezuelan dollar. Does the Dash have a better exchange?

Regards 😊

It looks like DASH is on your side.
Very convenient to exchange

Dear friend @nacomolina. Excellent report. I congratulate you since you have presented very well what refers to the adoption of cryptocurrencies in our country. Venezuela.

Dear friend @nachomolina.

Excellent report, un excelente reporte.
