This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.

Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here - including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks.

I've used some metrics relating to:

  • Posts (P)
  • Comments - number of (C)
  • Number of people spoken to (PS)
  • Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)
  • Comments - length in characters (C L)
  • Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
  • Up-votes to others (V)
  • Up-votes to different authors (U V)
  • Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus STEEM (S V)

The votes only get a small weight in the formula as other areas relate more closely to engagement. The 42000 chars help you a lot. 777, a nice amount of STEEM to buy - Is the worm turning, I hope so!

Ah OK that's just as well as I try to go for quality over quantity 😉 anyone believe that... Anyone? Haha! I did get in to some deep conversations this week so that probably told!

Lucky 7s haha. Turns out I had some loose change flying around on binance too so it went up to nearly 800 steem so I can't wait to power it all up. Numb nuts here put it in to savings in preparation for SPUD so hopefully I remember to get it out in time, look like some great prizes there but I have a feeling that only 33% increase in account growth is not enough (and I can't buy any more haha).

That worm better be a-turnin' 🙂

We'll see how the fork dents the earnings. At present the 30 STEEM is covered by the liquid payout but that may not be the case going forward. I have started self-voting the post - that adds about 1 STEEM to the payout :)

... very sad isn't it? I appreciate all @abh12345 does to do what he can to change that ...

But, after HF21, most project that upvotes on comments is going way down to outright disappearing. Another "indicator" that is not a favorable one to me. If there is no benefit to taking the time to craft a nice reply / comment, why bother?

Admittedly sometimes I just check in because I know my voting mana is high and I want to use it up, so I'll run around and upvote people who I know post good content/causes I support just to use the VP, when I don't have time to read and comment. But if I'm reading, I'm generally commenting.

The numbers are a little mixed, and I'm looking forward to what will appear over the next couple of weeks.

Voting comments will likely reduce as accounts struggle to reach the dust threshold and so I hope that doesn't mean people will not produce as many.

Ohh yes indeed, i was told at 18 I would never be able to run and would walk with a limp without surgery, multiple marathons and 3 Triathlons plus 40 years later I still haven’t had the surgery LOL

Yes, I can remember, you have told me that quite a while ago, when we have spoken about these long beaches in New Zealand. I am still impressed by that, and I do hope, that you will never need this surgery.

I to hope I will never need surgery, I have been to two specialist here, ONe who said they have bene given a hard time but no need for surgery, and the other a decade later who said I needed knee replacement on both knees, I like the call of the first one so thats my plan no surgery LOL

For now there doing good apart from some pain this weekend and locking up a little, but i know they wil settle down quickly so I will keep treating them myself for now and hopefully never need to see a specialist again :)

The funny thing is when one knee starts hurting I start favoring it and as it gets better the opposite knee starts going out in sympathy Nd starts to ache, well usually so far ot this time so I think I am on the mend

When I was younger I never talked about such things, but over the past few years the aches became more, especially in the mornings the joints don't work without a bit pain for the first few steps ;)

Last weekend, when we visited my parents, an old neighbor came for a visit. He is 92, is going for a walk every day, still drives his car, but avoids inner cities though, and he smiles, he laughs and he is making jokes. So, age can be fun too ;)

I tempted fate saying I had no trouble sleeping when I go to bed last night I went to bed at my normal time of 10 and I guess I had too much racing through my brain didn’t fall asleep till 2AM but I did sleep through my alarm my wife woke me at 5Am and now about to have a nap 💤 on the train 🚂

Yes we survived the fork It worked out well for me timing wise I was busy at work while it was down but up again in my evening

yesterday was a lot better and I got over 5 hours sleep so a better day today 👍😎👍
I think we won’t change we have a positive and fun attitude and I don’t see that changing for either if us

For me the hard fork the other way round: No problems while I was at work, but I could do nothing in the evening ... and so I had my first evening without Steemit for ages 😉

Right, if nothing really life changing happens, I / we will stay the same for the next 50 years - I wonder, if we will still be steeming, when we are 90 ;)

I think this hardfork may be better for you than for me, I read somewhere f you earn over 20 per post your rewards go up f less than 20 it goes down, so mine for sure will go down

Well, if I didn't pay for my votes... I have bought some Steem over the past few months, and I am buying votes at Smartsteem.com, because that way I get more for the Steem, than if I would convert it all directly to Steempower ;)
I don't know, how this will work from now on, but if the revenue is too less, I will convert it all to SP and my earnings will get back down to "normal" :)

I see I have read the bidbots and smartsteem may struggle with this change in HF21, I dont have anything against them myself I jus choose not to use them, which may have been a mistake on my part

Yes, I would love to live for a few hundred years, just to see, what comes :)

I don't like to use these, but the people, who sell their votes earn money, and I get some more money for my money - so everybody is a winner, and I don't feel so bad for buying votes, what sounds bad, I know.
I will try it again, and see, how it works now, after HF21.

Considering the aches I have approaching 60, not sure I would want to live a few hundred years especially not if somehting isnt done soon to protect our environment and planet I sometimes what we are leaving behind for future generations

I never really looked into Smartsteem to be honest but as I see it from what you say , its t a bid bot rather than a way for people who perhaps dont have time to be curating manually to do votes, I should look into it, but perhaps in the meantime I should let you see ho it works ow with the change and let me know if you think its worthwhile to do?

Or to put it another way I am just being lazy and will let you do the research LOL

That's a good point, but think positive - the people will become cleverer and act before it is too late ... hopefully.

Smartsteem says "Fixed 20% ROI Calculation. (205% Ratio incl. 50% Curation)."
I will do the research and buy like I did before. In a few days we should know, if it's still worth :)

If I could sit at my keyboard for the next week or so, and catch up on all the replies I need to do, I might maybe possibly come close to dethroning the reigning King. However, I'd also have to figure out a way to block his signal during his work commutes, to really give me a fighting chance... hmmm... 😂

Congrats to everyone, looks like not many have HF21 jitters yet, and that is good. I had a slow start to the week, not as many comments, but I did boost the number of out going votes, I hope to try and keep those up, even though it spreads my vote to a very small value.

The weeklies looked good this week. Almost all of them up over last week so that is great. I am going to try during the first HF week to bring my comments back up, I kind of slacked off this week. I also need to do more posting, I seem to be stuck at 3 or 4 a week.

A first for me. 80 weeks on the charts any where from number 3 to 98, I have surrounded the middle of the road with 49 and 51 on a couple of occasions, and this week, Right Smack Dab in the middle. Number 50 a first for me. If Asher keeps this going long enough I may be able to get every spot, maybe in two years or so. A worthy goal for me to strive for. I think spot number 1 and 2 will be the most difficult, but one day I may get there. 99 and 100 will be very difficult also, I do not want to run myself off the board,
