- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)

- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus STEEM (S V)

Well this week my numbers were up because i worked from home or a few days so didnt have the long commute, but i have always been an active commented and will continue to be, just taking myself out of the league for now :)

LOl WellI am lucky I am a speed reader so reading posts and comments i an do quickly, secondly. Pend on average 3 hours plus on a train commuting to and from work and do a lot of commenting then
I find it takes quite a lot of time to find content that interests me enough to leave a comment. I have my favourite people here but outside of that group, it's really hard to find quality content 😅

Still looks pretty consistent number wise for the weeklies, that is good. I made an effort this week to try and be a bit more engaged, almost made it in to the top 20 again, but 27 is not a bad place. I did manage to get 4 post out this week, that is a good week for me. I even made the curation list at 96th, but still I made it, I have been trying to spread my votes out a little bit more and that seems to have helped.
!BEER sip for the working man, and I hope everyone has a nice upcoming week. Here where I live, back into the rains, we at least had one sunny day this past week, hope for a few more in the week ahead. Fires are out, that's a bonus for us, now for a nice day to drive and see the destruction wrought, Just need the nice day.
More comments and more text for the last couple of weeks in a row looks positive to me.
I actually think spreading your vote reduces your CR these days, but I'd rather try to do that and not just pile on the authors that do well.
Lots of rain here at present, and it's about to get chilly for a while too - I'm looking for a warm place :)
I think I hit a few lucky peoples post this week. I would like to keep it tight vote wise, but there has actually been, or I found a lot more stuff to vote on, so percentages went down, to cast more post votes. I am trying to build my unique votes out to at least 120 a week, almost made it there this week.

Be honest. We are all doing this (being active on the Steem blockchain) for the money. Just some people are doing it smarter than others. They provide and have real, human comments and support each other with upvotes, while a lot of people are not doing this. A lot of people are focusing only on their own blog posts. And the whole Steem Basic Income program is also about the money. To provide a basic income for Steem users, who have SBI shares.

Those that know me, over my time "in here," know I am first and foremost an investor. Hasn't worked out very well with STEEM, but fortunately I am not a short-term speculator, so ... We'll see!

Especially nowadays, seeing that the price of the Steem is around $0.13 USD. I am not an investor, or at least not big, but I can also say that I am not a short-term speculator. You know I am bad for that as well, and I apologise. I have a multitude of tabs open, I'll go to do one thing for something I'm working on (like a comment, sources, or looking up something to make sure I'm explaining it right - just examples) and then I will be taken off course and completely off-topic which might lead me astray for HOURS before I get back on track. I know I've had tabs of your comments open meaning to reply, and I keep opening it thinking it's a tab I'm specifically looking for, and I'll remember "oh yeah! I'll get to that in a moment" and then boom, another 12 hours goes by :/
Then it just gets soooo old that I feel replying would be too much of a necro, so I end up closing the tab.. Or I would just get so pissed off with myself having 100 tabs open that I just CLOSE THEM ALL pretending I had a crash so bad that even Chrome's 'recover tab' feature couldn't save them..
But, I recently found Toby which is multitudes better than OneTab which I was using before.. Toby has allowed me to actually by productive and organised with my tab mess, so I'm hoping I will be better and faster at multitasking now. So far, so good.
SteemReply has been pretty amazing for me now too.

I told you at the beginning of the month that I would be stepping down in a few weeks to give someone else a chance to enjoy the view from the top. I think this list contains many incorrect informations. As per steemworld.org my curation reward was much better than many in this list (I even checked their statistics on steemworld). And about engagement... Some people use Dpoll to caste vote which takes minimal effort and that activity has been here considered as good 'Engagement'. Take these things as a suggestions for your next post :)
You are not in this weeks complete list, probably due to a recent powerup/powerdown/delegation.
Dpoll is still considered engagement to me. The short 'voted for' comment isn't really adding a lot of text.

I've been thinking to ask you if you know the work of the @Contestbot, is a project (I think is runned by @reggaemuffin, who also ran the glorious and now inactive @originalworks bot). They are constantly creating writing contests about many blockchain and tech projects that sponsor these contests to get promotion in Steem. Maybe you find something interesting for both of your investments and write ups.

For now I recommend to you to just follow the @Contestbot, it only inform you via transaction when a new writing contest is active. Later you will have time to check it with more detail.
A long time ago @Originalworks used to work as an original content checker, making the plagiarism revision by itself when you called it by the command !originalworks. The bot then upvoted your post and leave you a comment of the original content validation. Just for the nostalgia, their posts were something like this:

As mentioned, while I am not familiar with this service, your commendation of it is notable, as I value your opinion. Beyond that, I wonder how many similarly creative and original features someone was inspired enough to both conceive of and then work hard to "bring to life" we have on our Steem blockchain. How do we find them? And what do they subsequently need to succeed?
I've seen and experienced many things in a long life @leveuf and, while invested in this new technology for over two years, I yet remain skeptical of some of the utopian claims for its future. Specifically, that it will somehow "magically" become transformational ... There is just a hard reality about what it takes to succeed in life that too many (from my perspective) try to escape. Leading to inevitable failure ...
Old statistics, which I have long since forgotten where they came from, nonetheless have always stayed with me. Statistics about the success rate, in spite of a lot of hard work, of new business start-ups in the "real world" - 90% of them fail in their 1st year, and, of those that survive, 90% of them fail within their 1st five years. That leaves us with a 1% chance of success.
The two primary reasons for failure? 1) Inadequate financing to get their owners through the inevitably difficult start-up phase, and 2) Inadequate / insufficient sales & marketing effort to make their "value proposition" widely enough known to attract the needed numbers of customers ...
So ... After ~ 3 years of life, in its own "life cycle," where are we on our Steem blockchain? 🤔 😉
I think the widely spread idea of "come and post and you'll earn money" was a bad publicity in the long term. I've seem many comments about creating a philosophy since the beginning to somehow protect the Steem token by staking it. While it was a strike of fortune for many early users it become a burden for the steem economy itself. Another factor and you know more of that is the relation that all the alt-coins have to bitcoin and the overall crypto market itself.
I believe the human factor in this platform that can't be easily expressed by numbers is the value that makes Steem resist until now all the storms over these two years of declining in the price. There are many good feelings in a lot of people "in here" that will maybe make this boat sail for a very long time. As you, I think in the long term and keep calm continuing also with diverse projects for growing in life. Giving Steem only enjoyable and quality time!! I'm looking forward to see those five years of the platform and the state of the Steem!! It could be good times!! :)
And speaking of projects I find another impulse to authors by this new @original.content initiative. I think they are related also with OCD. It's worth to check and see how they work!!
