Black And Blue
She's driven to a natural state of mind, something that attracts her to the depths of the ocean.
Always curious about the way things work, about the natural beauty that this world forms.
But at times a storm will form. Toxic waste taking shapes and forms, latches on to the food. The food in which the high spirits feed, then get angry. The storm helps to cleanse. To free and begin again
The sun will shine, the clouds break apart and a calm with the small fresh breeze to clear the mind.
Peace fills the waters and her heart. Yet there's always a lurking piece in the ocean. It grows.
It grows slowly into a more toxic mess, garbage scraping at her knees, weakening her very roots, a decaying motion that brings her farther down into the deepest, darkest depths of the deepest ocean. This is her mind.
Trapped by anchors and chains, air is sipped through bubbles that arise when the plants decide to give.
Swim as she might, her strength has gone too soon. Another storm come forth, the spirits are angry more than ever. Her tears of fear and pain fill the oceans burning salt!
Close your eyes, child within, find yourself again. Your heart is purest, your soul can be free. Find your path and restore what is to be. You have the power to calm the most wicked of storms, for all that is black and blue in the ocean, can be as bright as the moon lit sky.
Shine bright little moon, little child, big spirit. New beginnings doesn't mean you're starting over, just starting a new journey.
