Supporting Steem ecoVillage, at @eco-alex post

Hi, Steemian how are you today? I hope you are healthy and creative to work.
Every government will try to carry out development in various sectors. the development in the industrial deposit is no exception. The development of the industrial sector will suck up a lot of natural resources and human resources. The need for raw materials makes industry players need to make breakthroughs to get lower costs. Likewise, a large workforce will be sought to be more efficient.
For this reason, the government needs to collaborate with all institutions to work together in developing the industrial sector. Researchers and industrial developers are expected to participate widely and actively so that development will be able to achieve clear goals.

Negative impact and solution

Every industrial development will always bring good and bad impacts. Goodness of the industry will be able to meet domestic needs and increase state revenue. With industry it will also be able to increase employment so that it will reduce unemployment.

However, in addition to the good effects the industry also had a bad impact.

1. Land changes.
   Agricultural area becomes industrial land causing people to lose their jobs as farmers. they will be eliminated and lose their jobs before they can get a new job. While when working in the industrial sector they do not have sufficient expertise.

2. Pollution
   Large industries are often not matched by efforts to reduce pollution, both water, soil and air pollution.
   Procurement of raw materials from outside with a long distance will also cause pollution. Smoke from vehicles that go back and forth to transport goods will increase the level of pollution.

To overcome the problems caused by the negative impact of the industry we need to make alternative solutions.
One of them is to build an ecosystem-based industry. By developing a focus on hospitality to the environment it is hoped that it will be able to minimize negative impacts without reducing its effectiveness and efficiency.
In Steem, I found a positive activity that wanted to bring the anatar of human life closer to the environment called the ecovillage project. And what makes me happy is today I read the post form @eco-alex. With supporting from other Steemian such @orlev, @yabapmatt, @ecotrain who proove that STeem is a great community.
He told me that at this time eco Village had already acquired 7 hectares of land. I can say this is a greatness from Steem. From Steem, it can give birth to a real project to develop ecosystem-based development. For further information you can read on the latest posts.

I am very happy to know that Steem has inspired Steemian to work in the real world. Steem is able to move everyone to give the best for the earth and the surrounding environment.

My Suggest

From the project that is being carried out by @eco-alex I want to participate in giving additional suggestions so that it will develop better.
1. Need to involve the surrounding people to take care of existing land and plants.
The easiest way is to provide opportunities for residents to work on the land between the staple crops. Make an agreement to form a fabric of mutual benefit. Farmers can get harvest from intercropping plants, and the Eco Village project will run well.

2. Good drainage.
Land area of 7 acres requires a good irrigation system. This must be calculated well so that during the dry season the water needs will still be met.
My suggestion is to build a reservoir for water supply. when it rains the reservoir will hold water that can be used for other purposes and guarantee water supply in the dry season.

3.Renewable energy resource
This project need to develop energy resource which renewable. For electricity needs can use solar energy sources. For this development, it is necessary to think about and calculate how many solar panels are needed to cover 7 acres of land with various facilities. With solar panels will reduce the need for a lot of installation. Solar panels can be installed around the facilities to be erected. even if in some areas we only have street lighting to use solar panels so that they don't depend on the electricity source from the state. This will encourage independence and at least reduce the country's electricity supply so that it helps maintain the sustainability of electrical energy sources.
Eco Village also needs to develop biogas energy sources. this can be done by developing livestock in a part of the land so that feces and municipalities can be managed as a source of bio-gas. this will provide a double benefit. Gas availability will be fulfilled and compost management can be used as organic fertilizer.

4. Eco tourism
I believe that the landscape has potential for eco tourism. it can be built many facilities which support ecovillage project. Organic farming and Permaculture can be developed here. Integration between agriculture and animal husbandry that can be a capital for the development of a large business. Moreover, the development of renewable energy can be used as a pilot for various educational institutions and governments
I am sure this project is on the right track and will get big success.
