Eco Village Update

Land zoning, building permits and fire risk are issues confronting the
fledgling Eco-Village project in Portugal. @orlev gives us the detail
in the spirit of transparency for collective learning that the project
is committed to.

Rebuild The Past

The Odessa community in Bandung, Indonesia, is reverting to old,
traditional crops to address sustainable food source and spiraling cost
of living. Great to see how different cultures and communities around
the world are coming together aorund the themes of eco-living,
sustainability and community.

@Build-It Contest: Building a Home Inverter

Practical how-to is a MUST-HAVE in any Eco-Village. @zumed shows us how
to make a simple home inverter, for moderating electrical current. His
NEXT project is a solar inverter - we're sure hoping he uses the
@ecotrain tag and shares that knowledge with us too! If you're not
already following @build-it, please do - so many great tips, projects
and how-to ideas.

Episode #3/Social needs - The Discomfort-Zone

Another great podcast from @orlev about social needs informing the drive
towards collaboration and eco-community. Watch it on the uncensored

The remote, indigenous, displaced Karen community on the Thai Burmese
border is continuing its Organic Frontiers project and preparing to
harvest its first herbal crop. Eco-Village and Eco-Community is a "have

across Northern Thailand to see exactly how the crop has grown and to
make a harvest-action-plan with the local Karen community.

Some interesting gems here. I liked the in Odessa, Indonesia about "rebuilding the past" through traditional crops. Something about them gaining a resurgence after falling out of favor is very interesting to me. I like alternative plant foods.

There's some great work happening in Bandung - @abdulhamids and Odessa doing really creative, community things!

Thanks for the feedback. Odesa Fondation (with single "s" 😁) believes that the solusion of our food crisis is on certain own food that ever existed in the past (when our ancestors consumed and plant it). Hope our movement could give an inspiration to all of activists like you all to find a problem solving from your own land. 🙏

Awesome article! Our world needs more people like you who are solution oriented. It's good to see that there are people who are part of making our world a better place, still, it just seems to me that we lack practical sense: In case you didn't live under a rock, you already know that WW3 is already a reality.

  • People go to war because they obey, because they’re not aware.
  • When people are aware they have the power to choose their response and return to our human nature.

After our current war there are gonna be less people on this planet.
This is exactly what they want:

  • Less people are easier to… control.

At this point we can NO longer work in the direction of waking people up because we NO longer exist, so a good question might be:

  • How can we wake people up in good time?
