On first sight I would think it is a Grass Snake, but I'm not sure because of the head of the snake. It looks nice though and quite long 🐍😃

I just hope it's not poisonous ... I think it's a young snake ... We waited for it to cross the road ... Very nice🐍

Well, poisonous or not, if it bites you, you could get a bad infection even if the snake is harmless and in ancient days people have died from a harmless snake bite 😉

Sorry for such a scary answer, but in a few minutes I am going on my first real hike on a mountain this year and I feel exhausted already 🤣

Thank you, we had a nice hike but apart from cows and jackdaws I haven't seen any animals 😁
