It is like the 50/50 question you asked me in another comment my friend.
Insanity or alcohol, any sane man would choose neither and avoid driving like the plague.
But who wants to be sane? hahaha.
Totally up to you lol.

Cheers and thanks.

Thanks a lot to this very not helpful answer my friend 🤣
So, I think I'll stay sober, let them do what they need to do and hope for a nice nurse - you know the one who is beautiful, nice and a girl 😉

Not very helpful??? I am trying my utmost to dissuade you from getting intoxicated, or from ending up in an asylum and you are hoping for a young and beautiful, girly nurse.
Seems like I have a long road ahead to give you very helpful counseling Hannes hahaha

Cheers and thanks!

Oh, you need very good shoes to go with me on that road, Zac. I would suggest you to take a second pair of shoes with you to wear these when the other shoes soles are worn through 😂

Shoes have always been a problem for me Hannes,
At one stage in my life I was well off and I could have my shoes hand made, but now they only import shoes from China and no one in China has my size feet lol.

I wear size 11 extra wide as my foot bridge is high and my feet are wide. Even the camping boots squeeze my feet and in the army I had to wear size 12 boots that left me with many blisters.

So now I only have one pair if "Hi-Tech" adjustable camping shoes that I wear everywhere. The soles are smooth rubber and they love to slip and slide hahaha.
You will laugh when you see me dancing to keep my balance on the wet rocks at the sea lol.

In the mountains on the steep parts I also often almost kiss the ground hahaha.

Such is life!

Cheers and thanks!

Oh well, in that case I could use your shoes as canoe if we have to cross a river or lake 🤣
I think my skis are even shorter, so we could use the shoes also if we have to climb over a mountain to get faster down to the valley in winter time … your shoes have many purposes, they are not only shoes, they are multifunctional survival gear, if you know how to use them and don't slip out on rocks or so 😉

Now, now Hannes, you should never make fun about another person's disabilities.
I thought that your mom taught you this as a teeny bopper lol.
You are now equating my precious shoes to canoes and skis and my heart is sore hahahah!
My shoes are multifunctional dancing gear and why do you think that they called me "anchors" in the army? lol.

Have a blessed day mate!

Cheers and thanks!

Oh, I am sorry that you felt I was offending you, but I only thought of the positive and also fun things one could do with these huge shoes 😁

So they called you anchors? I think canoes sounds nicer 🤣

Wish you a nice evening, my friend 😊

Hahaha, the word offend doesn't exist in my head's library Hannes.
Guys used to tease me by saying that my ears are so wide that they look like two open garage doors.
Yes indeed, I used to answer. The doors must be open to park my "Shelby Cobra" inside lol.

Canoes definitely has a better ring to it hahaha.

And a hearty good night also to you my friend!

Cheers and thanks!

Hi Zac,

I don't have much time today and have come back from a meeting just before.

My boss has big ears too and we always fear that he gets blown away like a glider if there's a strong wind 🤣

Hi Hannes,

Are you also in those meetings where a lot of talking takes place and nothing gets done?
I have become seriously allergic to meetings lol. Especially church meetings!

We had some visitors here today by friends from up north, as they brought the mother down to visit her son daily in one of the hospitals here. The son has cancer in his brain and now after the operation he has constant illusions. A sad story.

Hahaha, so your boss can come and join me at the "Big Ear" gliding club hahahah!

Cheers and thanks!

Hi Zac,

sometimes, but mostly I meet with companies which work for us and we talk about the work they have to do. So these meetings are not that bad.

Another sad story from you.

The "Big Ear" gliding club haha 🤣 I won't tell him that 😂 lol

Hi Hannes,

You are right and that's what I call constructive meetings.
The ones I am talking about are the ones that when people walk in, they eye the refreshments table and then sit down to make small talk about families, pets, broken washing machines and what not.

Yeah, this is life my friend and I am sparse with the sad stories, so as not to create negativity.

Hahaha, I can imagine this;

Hannes, "Boss, my friend in South Africa said that you are welcome to join the "Big Ear" flying club"!
Boss, "How does he know that I have big ears"?
Hannes, "Well Sir, no offence, but we were discussing radar dishes and big ears slipped into the conversation I told him that your ears are also slightly out of proportion, but don't worry boss, his ears are bigger than yours"
Boss, "Hannes, take the day off and go look for another job"

Of course you will have a different version of the discussion and let's hear it?

Cheers and thanks!

Good morning Zac,

I know what meetings you mean and sometimes I can't avoid such, but I love constructive meetings (constructive was the word I was looking for but didn't find ;).

I don't call him Sir and he can't fire me, that's the good thing. We went to police school together and he sat in front of me and most times I couldn't see the chalk board - guess why 🤣 lol

Good afternoon Hannes,

Yeah, constructive meetings normally result in planned actions taking place that are reported at the next meeting as successfully completed. Those are great meetings.
As for all of the others, they can keep it lol.

They have now invited me twice to become a member of the complex committee here and I have refused twice. Now I hear that I will be invited for a third time at the upcoming meeting that we don't attend.
Some people will never learn!

Doesn't sound as if you have very much respect for the guy Hannes. I like your diplomatic talk about the guy's ears covering the chalk board like two fleshy curtains hahaha.

Cheers and thanks!

Hi Zac,

correct, these are the meetings I like because they help my work and don't waste my time.

Some people are learn resistant.
I don't know what such a committee does, so I can't tell you my opinion about it.

Oh, I do respect him, but in our department we are more informal and not so very serious. We work hard but we also have fun and talk stupid things 😂
