“Other” for President is really gaining profound traction in ABC poll #OtherForPresident
Recently ABC conducted a poll where they listed presidential candidates, where the “other” category seemed the most popular. I go into this and other examples of media manipulation in this video.

The Dems/DNC really are afraid of Bernie "Other" Sanders. They'll never let him have the nomination.
In Europe, Bernie's policy positions would be considered centrist, lol. Setting aside wedge issues and identity politics, the two major parties are corporatist conservative and extreme corporate conservative when looking at each parties overall stance on economic policy, military spending, healthcare, etc.
I am just too cynical to agree. I think all political rhetoric is nothing more than that, and every political candidate, from Bernie to Trump, is really just a fall guy puppet. In office, they do as told, and promote the agenda of their masters. When torches and pitchforks result, the fallguy falls, and their masters regroup and put up another puppet.
Thank God few people are as cynical as am I. Despite my love for the good faith and sincerity of my fellow humanity, I have become convinced their social responsibility is simply a handle pathological manipulators use to manipulate them for profit and power.

Yes, I'm just a cynical as you are my friend, lol. I don't actually believe that the election of any individual, even with the best intentions, would be capable of making significant change in the corrupted apparatus that has taken hold. We have to stop channelling our hopes and aspirations into a single person, like they will be able to fix decades of decay. Real change comes from the people, when people get in the streets and engage in participatory democracy, pitchforks and civil disobedience included.
Indeed, one puppet will be replaced by another as we have seen time and time again. Yes, even if Bernie took the White House he would be subject to manipulation/threats/coercion by our hidden rulers, it will be the people to rise up and 'demand' an end to wars and universal healthcare if these issues are to become reality.
I do not believe we are powerless, but we're under constant mental attack - 'the bewildered herd' lurching from crisis to crisis kept in confusion and fear. In this way, we cannot see that we have immense power together.
