Well I know this works well with fresh apples which are available all year round. Yet, the is a super quick and easy recipe that I have made countless times and still love!

I checked my mom's recipe and the only difference was using fresh peaches and putting the flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt and rolled oats on top after mixing. Bake 30 minutes and done. That is when you have peaches you need to use. ;)

The apple looks awesome. We had an apple orchard, so you can bet there was a lot of apple crisp going on at our house. It looks perfect! The one thing I can say is that the apple does make a difference and the perfect apple crisp is made when you are using a Combination of Tart and Sweet Firm Apples. My morhwe used to use McIntosh, but they really are too soft and break down.

Pink Lady

Of course, in saying this, any apple you have an abundance of works great!
