[EP251] - Quantum Computing vs Bitcoin

To be fair, I don't really know what I'm talking about here... but I assume that I know slightly more than the average joe/my dad, so I'm happy to lay down my scattered thoughts in video.

I personally am not worried for Bitcoin even with the latest breakthroughs in Quantum Computing by Google this week. Quantum computing is super crazy hard, and may not scale at this point. People are working on quantum-resistent blockchains, and Bitcoin is still very much safer than normal fiat currencies.

I think we can easily predict that technology is likely to look very different in 10 years than it does today, and Quantum computing is also really likely to be a big part of that... but so is blockchain. We're heading to big exciting things and I can't wait to see how it all pans out.
