Learning The Frontside 180 Nose Grind / SkateVlog Entry #8.1

Good Day Everybody!!

Another skatevlog coming your way! This time my goal for this skatevlog is the Frontside 180 Nosegrind! I filmed this vlog after finishing the game of steemskate week #9 (link below).

Frontside 180 Nosegrinds is done by doing a frontside 180 and landing the front truck on the ledge. Easier said than done, I tried to do this trick and thought to myself that I have the Fakie Nosegrind and the Frontside 180 so that this should come easy, haha I was wrong, turns out that this trick relies heavily on the height of the frontside 180. If the height is not enough, it will only land on the nose and do a nose slide. This trick takes a great deal of pop. I have my difficulties trying it and after a few trials, I figured out the key to the trick. This trick is very cool, I did this as my goal for the day because I saw one of my favorite pro skater doing this on his video and he looked very cool. My only problem now is how to get out of the trick properly, but overall, I had a nice session and a new trick.

So here is my skatevlog and I hope you like it!

Thank you for watching my #vlog and have a great day!!

P.S. That pro skater is Chris Cole, big and strong, Frontside 180 Nose grinds really looks cool and easy when He does it. PEACE!!

**The background music is put together by myself on the apple garage band app. I have been experimenting on some loops and drum beats on that app and it is quite enjoyable. Filmed on a GoProHero6 and I edited this #vlog myself on the iMovie app.

The biggest lie we skaters say is "Let me try this one more time". Then 100 tries laters we keep saying the same thing! Hahahaha! I do this all the time.
Props for getting away with a good one. It's a hard trick and rolling away with speed is much harder than it looks like.
I try to pop out my board while I am still grinding so I can have some speed once I hit the ground. I don't know if that helps dude!

Congrats again and your vlogs are getting super-good. I really enjoyed watching!
Cheers

Yeah it’s true. Just need to get that feeling of rolling away because we know that we are very close!

Thanks for tips. One of my problem is that I am slowing down that is why I usually choose to 180 out instead of just letting it do a fakie out. It a very cool trick and I’ll practice it more!
