The Things That Make Anarchapulco Great... Are Not Unique To Anarchapulco
This video is a response to @mikeonfire's video, which was a response to my article about no longer attending Anarchapulco. Since Michael posted his video to Bitchute, and people have been talking about it so much, I'm setting up an account over there as well, we'll see how it goes.
I've been to all five Anarchapulco conferences so far, often staying in Acapulco for weeks or months around the event. Unfortunately, after the exit of Nathan Freeman last year (the organizer of 2016, -17, -18), things changed drastically, becoming basically another corporate event, and I can no longer justify supporting it, or the founder (and sole owner) Jeff Berwick.
After posting my explanations of why I wouldn't be part of the event any more, I got a LOT of feedback from people (mostly in private), including Michael's video. I just wanted to take the time to give his video a thoughtful response, and share the places where I agree, the places where I'm more of a "yes, and" and to focus on the primary reason I'm not going.
Thanks for tuning in everyone, I hope you're all having a magnificent day!

Awesome! Your comment about Ken Cousins was important... I remember talking with that guy years ago. I'm really not impressed anymore by Ideas like his that just require a great deal of money be given to him for his info. I am however liking YOUR ideas Bruv.
i ended up watching that video you posted as well for the copyright strikes for CR, missed that one too, glad to have heard the story thanks for posting with that last post you did
thanks for your perspective. My red flag was that anarcapulco NEVER offered tickets in BTC as it is an INTERNATIONAL Anarchist event. Ticket prices have ALWAYS displayed boldly in US Dollars, even though @jeffberwick rants almost every Anarchast about the USSR.
He did not even attended the funeral of the murdered anarchists, even though he said despite US media claims Acapulco is pretty safe.
Anarchy is about ideas anyway and i know people that got a lot out of it the first 3-4 years. Luckily we have the choice NOT to attend.
Take care man
steem on!

Ha, that is an interesting point. Certainly a huge portion of the attendees are from countries other than the US as well. If anything, it seems like the Mexican Peso would be the standard pricing, since it is in Mexico.
I got a lot out of the event myself over the years that I went, and put a LOT of energy & time into the event myself. That's a big part of why I find the change in focus/direction, and the community's silence on JB's many violations of personal sovereignty.
I mean, he actively disliked John, talked a ton of shit about him (and Lily), and specifically didn't want them at the event after their first year, because of their criticisms of it.
Thanks for dropping in, have a great day!
