This video is from 2016, Here I discover that there is going to be a new Star Control game, and this news is still just valid, it shows in interest in a game, and it seems as though now that the game is out, it has been accepted as a good game.
OK, perhaps there is newer NEWS out there, as other trailers have been released, and it is confirmed that the game takes place in a different universe from Star Control 1 & 2, but will be an origin story for Star Control, thus a prequel in the Star Control multiverse.
