Ruth: Selfless, Loyal, Admirable & Loved by God
In today's video we discuss the book of Ruth. I have two main points to make about this text and they are as follows:
- Ruth is a wonderful woman, God fearing, selfless, honourable, hardworking, and loyal.
- God gives this example because He means us to see that women are respected and intergrated in God's plan.
This book is not here by accident, God means us to see how He respects and loves and uses women.
Christianity is not sexist.
Christianity says the man and woman compliment each other: The two are intended to become one. Like Christ will marry the church, man marries the woman, and together they are more than apart.
