Think positive - New Music by DMiLLiZ - ( Practice on the drive)

It has been a while since I have created new music. As a ReggaeSteem co-founder that also does music , it is my responsibility to show how the platform can be utilized in many forms from an artiste perspective. Artiste need to realize that every step of the process in song creation is content and not just the release of the song. The writing process, the lyrics, the practicing, freestyle, performances etc can all be content posted on ReggaeSteem. The truth is most artists will release a song and never make a dollar. But on ReggaeSteem, every step of the process can be rewarded. When Reggae Artiste realize this, it is gonna be an entirely different landscape in the music.

In this video I am practicing a new song which I wrote in the week. I usually don't write out lyrics, but for a more conscious song like this, I feel the writing process is necessary. I also do this to go back to my poetry writing days which really enhanced the content of my lyrics. I am on a conscious vibration and the impulse to create a song that is conscious but at the same time has that uptempo modern dancehall feel was on my mind. I wanted to record with a better camera and in a better setting, but something about driving ( which I do a lot of) makes practicing new lyrics easier as one side of my mind is subconsciously driving, the other is in music mode, flowing freely, less mind distraction.

Interestingly, waking up this morning, there was some negative thoughts in my mind, but this song started playing in my head and I remembered to think positive. hope it does the same fore you dear listener/reader.

Note: I am still trying to figure out the tone of the hook, this is practice which I will listen to a couple times and change a few things before recording.
