A New @DTube?
I was about to upload my latest #BraaiBoyTV episode when I came across an unfamiliar DTube interface... hell, I had to re-login and create a new DTube account?
NB: You should do the same... DTube account creations is EXCLUSIVE to Steemit users at the moment... so make sure you head on over and create/claim your DTube username (and a 100 free airdrop DTube tokens/coins).

Well... @DTube has a new chain, and a new interface (read more about that over here: https://steemit.com/dtube/@dtube/dtube-0-9-doubling-up-your-rewards) and at first glance things look a helluva lot better to be honest. But I have NO idea what the resulting Steemit post is gonna look like, or where the video is in the post etc. etc.

New to BraaiBoy TV?
Over the years I've had a lot of fun playing with various braai recipes, and so the obvious thing to do was to capture some of these on video and share them with folks like yourself.
Most of my videos are about braai recipes, but will soon include "life around the braai" stories as well. Hopefully a celeb or 10 guest appearances/interviews... and who knows what else.

New an improved Dtube hopefully

At first glance it looks like a HUGE improvement. Not least of which is the upload functionality... VERY easy now and no longer relies on IPFS... which took forever and a day to convert (and often failed) if you had a high-res video.
It seems a little disjoint from STEEM though... I'm not sure how I feel about this part yet.
My first problem is that I can't choose which tags I wanna use when cross-posting to Steemit, and it seems the video itself is embedded twice into the Steemit post.
Also... everyone starts over with 0 subscribers... so if you're feeling generous, go claim your DTube account (logging into @dtube with Steem account and following the prompts), and then please subscribe to me there.
Also... please consider voting for me as a "leader"... I have no idea what the implications of that ARE yet (except for the existing pre-chosen 7 leaders)... but it sounds cool ;-)
Anyway... I'll play with it for a few days and then I'm going to start uploading my regular #BraaiBoyTV videos again, and give my 2 cents on the changes.
Lots of new things. Will signup shortly. Tried several times to upload videos to Dtube and it always fail, so I normally have to upload to YouTube and use it in a post. Yet to really feel the new Dtube.

I don't dtube, but I like curating dtubers. Glad to hear it is improving.
Same... in fact, @incubot was (originally) created for the exact reason.
It looks like curators are going to get decent curation rewards now too... if I'm reading their announcement correctly. ;-)
