Hey hey folks, I hope you're doing as well as I am for a Monday! Can't believe what a successful day it's been!
Last Year's Byteball/STEEM Airdrop
First pay day at the new job I started came as a huge relief as finally, I can start paying for things aaaaaaand it's gone! But I suddenly remembered about the Byteball STEEM airdrop thing that happened last year and I got a few friends signed up to it. If you did, you may have remembered you could only get half of it, whilst the rest was locked away for a year? Well, that year is most likely up for you guys and girls that got involved with it!
I remembered reading some very simple instructions somewhere on steem and @jk6276 to the rescue again with his post on how to convert them. It's the same process as before, I just did it now and got around 70 STEEM from whatever I had left. Let's power up in the #roadtodolphinhood this year! Cheers big ears!
Skyway Meadows
So, on to this track upload from today which I can't get back off the gits, sorry, I mean, previous music distributors, because they won't take it down from a compilation album it was on (which was part of a previous music contract that should really be defunct as the label has since closed). But hey, I decided to make it a free download instead mwhahaha!
I made this after my previous travel stint in 2015 when I was a young whippersnapper, travelling around for around 50 days this time round and one of the last places we visited was Meadows in the Park Skyway in Canada. The picture is taken from the view point at the top of the Meadows, over looking a beautiful valley towards the snowcapped mountains in the background, looking like waves breaking in an ocean. Beautiful!

Hey hey @joanstewart thank you my friend! Haha such is the way the first pay day goes! I like the rule of 3 when it comes to many new transitions and getting used to things again. In this case, 3 months to get used to the new job and settled in and 3 pay packets to settle the finances down and get in to a rhythm.
I have kept my monster spreadsheet for finances up to date and there was a lot of red going on of course as I was travelling but with a bit of smart budgeting, you can see what you're spending and how much you have left if you put all money transactions in there. It's like my own ledger.

Keeping a tab on the money is the only way to travel or the wheels can literally come off, your trip was jam packed full of fun adventure something you will always remember in years to come.

I did completely forget about the Byteball craze... I should check to see what there is! I really thought that that project was dead....
Haha yes I think the price tanked as soon as everyone cashed out with the air drop. I only had about $20 in there but it was enough for 70 steem which all helps in the #roadtodolphinhood
Hope you have more than 0.3GB though as they didn't let some people I know exchange for BTC (wasn't enough).

Howdy sir nickyhavey! I even looked and went back to find out for sure if you had mentioned that! Must have been Steemit Fog setting in again. And then yesterday I mentioned you in my post because it was about hiking and then today I mentioned you again because the story took place in your old broken down country, our Motherland(who needs to go on a diet), so that is way too nice of me.. I'm not sure what's happening but I don't like it. lol.

Yes I saw but unfortunately Partiko has broken since the HF21 glitch and my notification mechanisms have gone so I don't know where else to look! Tried the esteem app but it's clunky and slow!
I did however manage to find your two posts and made them at least a bit more elegant just by my username appearing there alone!
lol! Thanks so much sir nickyhavey! Those posts were in great need of some class so thank you! I didn't know that the hardfork messed up Partiko. But you tried esteem and it doesn't work as well as Partiko? That's the first I've heard about that too.
But knowing the brilliant techs working on the problem it will be very temporary.
Esteem doesn't even open up as an app so I won't be using that again! I can still comment on Partiko but it's not up to date since the steem outage yesterday so hopefully they get it sorted because it is fast and so handy for being on the go.
Oh ok. I thought all you did was sit around in an office all day.
It is, with occasional visits to the toilet :D
