One of my favourite dreams: The tragedy of the cave-turtle war
This dream is from November 11, 2017. I originally wrote it on Penzu. I have hundreds of dreams written there, and this one is a contestant for the favourite dream award. I'll transcribe it and translate it at the same time (used to write more in Spanish before this blog).
We were in a brown cave, fighting race against race. They had red shells; ours were a mixture of navy blue and turquoise. Their skin was red and they were coming in bulk. We were all very small compared to humans. Maybe tall enough to get to an average human's navel. Our heads were big and covered by a helmet-like shell from forehead to nape.
We had reptilian characteristics but walked on two feet. The fight didn't seem to make much sense. The red side sent hundreds of soldiers to charge against us, and we simply defended our cave. At first, it was normal, small groups, then bigger groups, then smaller. We placed mines, threw grenades and killed our enemies in many ways. They didn't have any way to attack successfully.
However, after a while, we saw from afar, from an opening in the very wide and well-lit cave, hundreds of thousands of reds, with their red shells glistening above their heads. They made an enormous orange-reddish mass which looked impenetrable. We all looked at it and knew at once that there was simply no way for us to win this war.
Small commentary
I can't remember much more except the orange sand, the feeling of this land being natural, and seeing all the other strange reptilians as my own siblings instead of understanding them as weird aliens. It's funny to have felt a sense of belonging to a race that I've never seen, in a situation I've never been in.

Heya, thanks for sharing :) I see you didn't use the "ulog" or "marlians" tag this time, it's how I found you last time.
I love turtles and how they make a moon calendar on their shell, but I don't remember dreaming about them.
