Doing A Storyboard

Hello! Finally, I’ve got some energy and time to begin this project I’ve been planning to do, an animatic story. I am not sure whether to call this project “animatic” or “animation,” both have different meanings but I feel that my work will fall under the animatic category? Animation seems to be the general term but I would rather get specific to be safe and avoid being called out in the future. Lol. 😅

So one thing I learned about making animated videos is by doing a storyboard. (I usually see animators do it too when I watch Disney channel when I was young. Lol )Well, it looks like trash but what’s important is that I understand the sequence myself. Doing the storyboard is fun although crucial for the flow of your story so it is important to be careful and never miss to draw the important parts.

This is going to be my first animatic story and I just made it short because obviously, this is going to be my entry video. Wish me luck that I can pull it off this “crazy” project I am doing. I want to try something new and challenge myself at the same time. I still lack art skills but I don’t mind. Hahaha! Crazy, isn’t it?
